Blood sugar? Two lumps please.
My bloodsugar is getting consistently lower now that I am on Day 8 of the Rosedale Diet. I’ve got many readings throughout the day that are in the hundreds and I’m sure that I’ll start posting below 120 regularly soon. Bad news for all vampires that don’t drink their blood ‘black’.
I’ve got my job interview this morning. I’m tired (from coughing all night) but I feel ready for the most part. I do need to print out my resume to take with me.
Speaking of coughs, ugh. I’ve had worse coughs. When Finn was born, I had such horrible bronchitis I probably should have been hospitalized. In fact, the following year I was hospitalized because I couldn’t breathe. This is just an irritating little phlegm at the back of my throat that won’t go away. You know how there are some older men who are constantly having to clear their throats but are not doing a real cough? That’s what it is like. Only about every two to four hours do I get a real cough in. When I am done with my interview today, I am going to take a powerful expectorant and try to end this this weekend.
I like poker. I play No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em online several times a month. But I don’t play for money. And I just got another
First, I’m on day 6 of the Rosedale Diet. It is a diet that limits carbohydrates to only fiber-dense vegetables and encourages good fat intake and limited protein. The premise of the diet is that if you eat like this (lots of leafy greens, a little bit of meat, and nuts, olive oil, avocado, etc) you will reset your leptin hormonal imbalance (which makes you hungry when you shouldn’t be.) By day two hunger is out the window. It’s pretty good for that. It also increases insulin sensitivity and since I am diabetic, that is a good thing. My blood sugar dropped to under 100 today.
