I have two boys, 5 and 7. The seven-year-old’s birthday is on Halloween. He’s having a big party this Sunday. And we have no Halloween costumes at all for them. What’s strange to me is that this year, unlike last year, neither of them seem very interested in dressing up. When I was their age, I was really into Halloween. They are aware of it but just aren’t focused.
